Another release from an up and coming west coast rhyme sayer. This particular release is from Inglewood native Skeme and it’s his highly anticipated project The Statement. Some of you are probably saying it’s about time but whatever it’s here and it’s damn good.
The homie Chris Moore aka CMooreDollaz wrapped up his debut mixtape Where Da Loud At? recently and as always, we have it here for your listening pleasure. Where myself and Chris come from has a pretty non existent music scene, but the emergence of an independent record label by the name of New Elf Records is starting to surface. Personally, I know this project was a tough one for CMooreDollaz but hard work definitely pays off and that’s true in this case. A lot of heart and tiring countless hours were put into this project and I was able to experience some of that first hand in the lab several nights.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, electro-pop teamThe Very Best released a new mixtape entitled, Super Mom. Bow! You indeed have been hit in the head with another world wide exclusive. Ok, so maybe it’s not world wide yet, but mark my words it will be. This might sound repetitive but this group, The 58′s are also out of Pittsburgh. As most of you know, some heavy hitters are coming out of Pittsburgh these days, but don’t let that overshadow all the artists in the underground scene. The 58′s are a perfect example of some of the better overshadowed music in not only Pennsylvania but all of the East Coast.
