Alloy-X Vol. 1


Since the experimental electronic/hip hop record label Alloy-X went public in September 2012, they’ve managed to build an arsenal of nine artists from all over the U.S. as well as release several top notch singles. Today Alloy-X released “Alloy-X Vol. 1″  the first installment of their compilation albums. This project is made up of eleven previously unreleased songs from eleven various artists. It’s hard to tell that a record label such as Alloy-X has only been around four months, but with the artists on their roster and the noise they’ve made already, it’s only a matter of time before Alloy-X becomes a household name. Smoke Screen – 2012 Highlight Re-Cap (Video)

Another successful year is in the books for the hip-hop/alternative duo Smoke Screen. With some help from Turnstyle Films and Kyle McDonald, Smoke Screen was able to capture the highlights on film and share them with us in this 2012 Highlight Re-Cap video. This video contains clips from music videos, live shows and appearances throughout the year 2012. Only fourteen days into the new year and Smoke Screen has already announced a forthcoming collaborative EP with Urbindex entitled “TURQUOISE” dropping on 2/5/13 via ALLOY X. 2013 is looking like it’s going to be epic for Smoke Screen and we’re looking forward to sharing the madness with you.
